Rajasthan State Open School (RSOS) is formed on March 21st, 2005. It is basically provides out of school learning sources or correspondence course. Minimum age of registration of secondary exam is 14 year and minimum age of class 12th exam is 15 year required in Rajasthan State Open School but there is no maximum age limit of registration. Certificates and mark sheets of RSOS are equivalent to central board CBSE, Rajasthan secondary education boards and other state boards. RSOS conduct examination of secondary education and Class 12th every year. Since the beginning of Rajasthan State Open School almost 3,34,724 candidates have joined this scheme. In last season, 54,943 students joined secondary examination and 78,334 students participated in class 12th examination. The main aim of RSOS is to conduct examination of secondary and class 12th. RSOS conducts exam twice in year i.e. from October to November and March to April. After registration, candidate has opportunities to complete his study in maximum duration of 5 years in 9 attempts. After examination, RSOS 12th Result published by the board.
