Kerala Higher Secondary Department, also Known as DHSE; was established in year 1990 by the government of Kerala. Kerala Government has decided to delink pre-degree courses from colleges to introduce 10+2 system in high school of Kerala. Initially, Kerala pre-degree Course was begun in 31 selected Government High Schools in Kerala State and course was named as HSC, Higher Secondary Education (HSE) first year, HSE, Second Year, Plus Two course or Kerala HSE 2nd year exam. Kerala Higher secondary department has conducted HSE Second year exam in Feb/March month of the year 2014.
