Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is constituted to provide the school education for secondary and higher secondary courses in state of Goa. It is also known as GBSHSE. It is established on 27th May 1975 under the Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act, 1975. Goa Board has its Headquarters in Alto Betim, Goa. Thousands of students from Goa state and Daman & Diu [Union Territory] are dependent on this board for school education. According to updates, Goa board 10th & 12th exam will be commencing in the month of March 2015.
The Goa board 12th (HSSC) Time Table released (for General Stream – Arts, Commerce and Science), and exams are commencing from Monday, 2nd March 2015  to Thursday, 19th March 2015. The Goa board SSC (10th) exam starting from 31st March 2015 to 10th April 2015.
