The <strong>JEE Advanced\u00a0cutoff 2015<\/strong>\u00a0is available now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About 13 lakh students participated for the Joint Entrance Exam-Main 2015 this year. About 11 lakhs &amp; 1.9 lacs candidates appeared in offline mode &amp; online mode respectively. The successful candidates will be eligible to appear in the <a href=\"http:\/\/delhi.indiaresults.com\/jee-main-result\/\"><strong>JEE Advanced Result 2015\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>to be held on<strong> 24th May 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Details about JEE Advanced\u00a0Merit List &amp; Cut off 2015 category wise details:<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/delhi.indiaresults.com\/jee-main-result\/default.aspx\">delhi.indiaresults.com\/jee-main-result\/default.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More than 1.5 Lakhs candidates appeared for JEE Advanced 2015 exams. CBSE has\u00a0also\u00a0released the\u00a0<strong>JEE answer key.<\/strong>\u00a0This year JEE cut-off marks showed a downfall. The cut-off score for eligibility for JEE (Advanced) 2015 is as given below:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For students in <strong>general category<\/strong>&#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>105 out of 360<\/em><\/span>, (down from last year&#8217;s 115).<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>OBC category<\/strong>&#8211;<em>70 out of 360<\/em><\/li>\n<li>And, for <strong>SC and ST<\/strong>&#8211; <em>50 and 44<\/em> respectively.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>highest scorer<\/strong> of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">JEE main 2015 result<\/span> is Sankalp Gaur from Pune, who scored 345 out of 360, and 2nd Topper\u00a0is Pranay Agarwal from Jaipur scored 341 out 360.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, for admission to colleges other than IIT\u2019s,\u00a0(including NIT&#8217;s or Deemed Universities, etc),\u00a0CBSE will release the\u00a0ranks separately, on the basis of <strong>60% of JEE (Main) score and 40% of Class 12 board marks<\/strong>.Separate rank lists will be prepared for admission to BE\/B.Tech and B.Arch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>reason for the low cut-off<\/strong> this year has been attributed to the slightly tough paper set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Physics was tough and some questions in mathematics were judged the difficulty solution level of the students.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">More Information about JEE Advanced Results 2015 Exam:-<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">JEE advanced is scheduled to be held on 24<sup>th<\/sup> May 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The top 1.5 lakh candidates will be eligible to appear for the <strong>JEE Advanced for admissions to IITs<\/strong>.
