The appointment of teachers in UP secondary institutions recognised by the UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education was governed by the Intermediate Education Act.As per the UPSESSB secretary, texamination conducted in two sessions. Papers of economics, zoology, defence and home science conducted in the first session while those of Chemistry, Hindi, civics, music, psychology and agriculture conducted in the second session.
