Meghalaya Board of School Education in short MBOSE was established in 1973 under the state judicial Act 1973. Its main aim is to control, regulate and supervise matters that are related to school education in Meghalaya State of India. MBOSE has been responsible for conducting Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Exam in state. MBOSE has conducted HSSLC Science exam 2014 successfully in month of March/April. Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) first started in 1974, but after 1996, when the University (NEHU) discontinued the Pre-University Course, it was taken over by the Board, since then all the financial matters, relating with SSLC and HSSLC branch were being dealt by the Board itself. After 1996, the Board is handling all the academic matters related with framing of syllabus for all the classes, including SSLC and HSSLC. Meghalaya Board has already declared the MBOSE HSSLC exam 2014 schedule. Now candidates can prepare themselves and can make their strategy accordingly. Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) was set up as per The Meghalaya Board of School Education Act, 1973, as to regulate, control and supervise matters related to School Education in the state of Meghalaya, India. MBOSE also has a regional office located at the state capital of Shillong. At present, there are about 1400 affiliated schools spread across the state of Meghalaya.
