Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University is located in Srikakulam and has been established by Andhra Pradesh State Government in the year 2008, with a view to augment the education facilities in the Srikakulam District and to cater to the educational needs of the people of the district. It is also popularly known as BRAU Srikakulam. Presently, Prof.H. Lajipathi Rai is the Vice-chancellor of this university. The University has a well-developed campus with latest infrastructural for the students so that they can perform best in their future life. It is also known for its method of creative learning that is provided to the students so that they can enjoy the study.
